American Accent Coach for international professionals & performers
I teach international professionals and performers how to speak with a clear, neutral American accent – so they can go from apologizing for their English mistakes to being asked which U.S. state they're from.
Your English teachers probably never told you this, but it is possible to learn to speak with a different accent.
You just need to train your ears and mouth to master the rhythm, sounds, and flow of American speech. With expert coaching and focused practice, you'll be amazed at how quickly you can transform your accent and finally feel at ease in any conversation.
I was looking for a coach who could help me get my American accent to the next level both on stage and in business meetings. After one too many generic (and boring!) language courses, Stephanie was a breath of fresh air. I especially appreciated her taking notes FOR me so I could really focus on the concepts we discussed.
Also, I’ve never laughed as much in a language course!"
"And just like that, I get mistaken for a native speaker.
I was looking for help in transitioning from an intermediate level of English to a more advanced one, with a focus on my pronunciation issues that made my English sound off. I needed this confidence to start my master's and doctorate in the USA, and with dynamic sessions focused on my needs, I've seen daily progress. Today I can communicate more effectively and correct most of my own mistakes when they appear."
"I’ve unlocked sounds, that I've been struggling with for a long time.
While practicing my interview speeches, we worked on some major pronunciation mistakes and fixed grammar issues. My pronunciation was strongly affected by my Italian accent and I didn't pronounce certain sounds and words correctly, which affected a clear and immediate understanding of my speeches."
"My diction has improved, and my speaking sounds more native now.

Work With Me
Whether you’re a business professional with clients in Chicago or a European actor wanting to audition in L.A., I can help you reach the level of accent authenticity that you need to succeed in American English.
And we’ll have fun along the way. Promise.
I don’t just have a background in languages and phonetics – I’ve changed my own American accent.
Yes, you read that right! I'm from the U.S., but I don't always use the accent that I grew up with.
After studying vocal music education and learning how to sing with correct pronunciation in Italian, French, and German, I applied those skills to my work as an English teacher in Mexico.
But one day, as I was teaching my students the right vowel sound to use in short words like "bag" and "tag," they pointed out that I was saying the words differently than what the textbook indicated!
That's when I realized that I could use my training in phonetics to change my own accent to a more neutral-sounding American accent, often referred to as the General American accent.
I now teach that accent to my students, which gives them the ability to sound like they could be from anywhere in the U.S. and feel a sense of belonging with English speakers around the world.
